A decade ago products were sold on the basis of its durability, cost and its color packaging. Customer of 21st Century is smarter than ever before. They demand more in terms of experience.
Now a days, customer wants product wrapped or packaged in different styles and design-layouts in number of color combinations, eye catchy logo apart from other novelty. Design has become an important area of rapid business development and growth. It is a medium to distinguish products in market. It is equally important in comparison to the matter of rendering services. Creativity has opened new vistas for young generation’s creative designers to make handsome money and fame by pursuing career under different “Design Streams”.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
An aptitude for drawing / sketching would be preferable.
Filling up of the entrance form.
Payment of fees.

SESSION TIMINGS
The student can optain for either of the following batches:
9 to 12 a.m.
12 to 3 p.m.
3 to 6p.m.
(Applicable from Monday to Friday and Saturday 9.00 to 12.00)

MODUS OPERANDI
Each course is of 2 years, wherein there are 8 semesters of 3 months each. After the basic module (known as the foundation) of 2 semesters, each student is free to specialize in the specific area of design i.e. Graphics or Fashion, in the other 6 semesters. Once the student completes the course he is sent for professional training for a period of 8 weeks.

Basic Design
This constitutes the first two semesters of the course. The student is introduced to drawing, freehand, perspective and nature study. This is mainly an exercise to surface out the inherent skills of the student, which are further polished by the guide. Various assignments to understand the play of colour and composition bring forth the student to the foundation of 'Design' and its interaction with the environment.

Creativity Workshops
Boring idle hours can be converted into an entertaining and learning experience at Varia Institute. Various kinds of short-term courses are offered, ranging from drawing exercises, colour work, macramé, graphic posters to printing etc. Each participant is introduced to a subject and is led through the various stages of development till its completion, as a work of art

ACHIEVEMENT & SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
Once in year, VARIA DDESIGN holds an exhibition of its student's creative work If they have completed the Assignment. The basic objective is to present student’s creativity before the world to get appreciation for their talent, thereby, generating confidence in them. During such displays certain items are offered to sell too.
We are happy to make you know that each time there has been over-whelming response from public. As a result center has received number of design and fashion projects from various agencies,fashion houses and corporates. Whatever the projects has come, is being done by students to give them experience of design and design process in industry.
